Tony Cilantro Racing to the Limit
“It was a burning hot day in Texas. It was in August 12, 1997. Everyone from Tennessee to Wyoming came to the rodeo that amazing day. The Stadium was filled more than it regularly was, millions of people looking at the bright, yellow dirt waiting for champions. First, up was the dreadful bull rides. Almost everyone was jumping out of their uncomfortable seats screaming. Then a cute small one year old baby boy walked out on the retched yard. By accident the people in the rodeo let a bull out without realizing there was a baby in the yard. Man, was the bull FURIOUS, his eyes were bulging red, black clouds of smoke coming out of the puffing nose, his huge dark horns lowering, and his humongous legs charging and the baby boy was right in front of the beast. Everyone I tell you was screaming and crying, but then the baby boy was then riding on the bull. People in the crowd had their mouths dropping under their drooling demented chins (which are now).”
“‘It seems that baby boy has tamed this furious bull,’ the announcer said. Soon the baby boy rode off on the bull out of the stadium before anyone can touch him. So the baby boy left from Texas to Missouri. When the baby boy got to Missouri he was only five. He then left the bull to do whatever he wanted and the bull left. So the boy found a broken bust down farm. It had crooked breaking doors that swing back and forth in the wind; also an open roof with the sun shining so bright it can blind your eyes for several days. He then went inside the farm and found tons of horses seriously tons. So he stayed for the night and left in the morning. Soon bushes started to shake behind him and he started getting suspicious because it wasn’t windy at all. ‘Who’s there?’ the boy asked while startled. The bush shook even more and suddenly a small horse came out. ‘You were following me you scared me you horse,’ the boy asked. The male horse started to lick the boy also, ran in a circle very quickly for forgiveness. ‘Ok I forgive you but since you’re very fast I will call you Lightning also I want you to stay with me,’ the boy said. Lightning overjoyed went to get something Lightning then came back with a new alphabet table. So Lightning then pointed T, o, n, y, and C, i, l, a, n, t, r, o. ‘Tony Cilantro that’s a nice name how are you so smart?’ Tony Cilantro asked. Lightning then jumped like he was trying to tell Tony something. ‘Let’s go then,’ Tony said. Then they went on with their journey.”
11 years later
“’Tony Cilantro you’re going to be late, ’the lady from the orphanage said.”
“‘Uggh,’ Tony muttered. Tony then got up got a red shirt with short sleeves and blue jeans on brushed his teeth and put his shoes on and quickly and ate his breakfast which was some nice crusty brown toast with smooth creamy butter on it that melts in your mouth. When Tony got out he ran past Orthodox ST then Tony went straight to Main ST, man at this hour it was filled with 200 CARS mostly Hondas and plus Tony had to go across to go to school. ‘Oh well I guess I have to go through this traffic to go to school,’ Tony said sighing. Then Tony made a great leap across the traffic and he jumped right over one huge grey truck and landed perfectly on his toes and kept running. He then started to gain even more speed and then he soon Tony saw his school Jefferson City High School. The High School was 3x his height with dark brown bricks that shine bright in the sunlight, the doors were bright red, and the window frames were light blue. Tony then checked his watch and it said 7:29 a.m. ‘Just one more minute and I am late’ Tony said then Tony ran straight into the door ran up the staircase then ran to his locker Tony then opened it in 2 seconds flat. Then threw his book bag into the locker and slammed the door quickly and ran into his homeroom and sat in his seat trying not to get noticed. RING the school bell rung as soon as he sat down on his short chair.”
“‘Geez Tony you never wake up do you, this has happened since the first day of school,’ Tony’s friend Dylan nagged.”
“‘Come on give me a break I had to go through traffic,’ Tony said.”
“’Sure so see you at lunch,’ Dylan said sarcastically.
“’See you later Dylan,’ Tony said while walking downstairs. Tony had to push people lightly to get through all the students he didn’t know even half of them. Tony then saw his class so he charged in and fell on the ground.”
“’Ha-ha,’ his classmates laughed.”
“’Tony get up this instance!’ Tony’s teacher Mr. Boring exclaimed. Tony then got up and cleaned the dust of his jeans. ‘Didn’t I tell you yesterday no more being the class clown IN MY CLASS!’ Mr. Boring exclaimed.”
“’How is it my fault that I make people laugh’ Tony said.”
“’It is your fault because you do this every day,’ Mr. Boring.”
“’Ok I wouldn’t do it anymore,’ Tony said lying.”
“’You BETTER because I’m SICK of it,’ Mr. Boring said. ‘Now back to working on your test.’”
6 hours Later
“RING the bell rung. Finally the end of school Tony thought. Tony ran to his locker, took his book bag, slammed his door of his locker, and jumped down the staircase and reached the door and ran out. Then Tony ran to horse shed to work. Then Tony glanced behind him and saw something tall and brown hiding behind a bush. So then Tony turned around and started walking towards it. Then out of nowhere a beautiful tall brown horse jumped out of the beaten green bush. ‘Lightning what the heck I knew you were their but I wasn’t sure,’ Tony said while lying at the same time. Lightning then made a face with his eyes wide and a little smirk saying yeah right. ‘Alright alright I didn’t know it was you,’ Tony said when laughing with joy. Lightning then jumped in the air with comparison. ‘Alright that’s enough now yal have to get back to yal shed so I could go to work. Lightning then pranced in slow motion to his shed. ‘Come on hurry up I don’t want to get yelled a…’ Tony nagged.”
“’TONY,’ Mr. Horger said’”
“’Great now I’m in trouble now Lightning,’ Tony said. ‘Lightning,’Tony said wondering where he is. Tony then turned and saw Lightning hiding behind a bush. ‘Fine be a coward,’ Tony said.”
“’Tony get back to work or your fired I know you love this job, but you have to do it,’ Mr. Horger said.”
“’Ok Mr. Horger,’ Tony said surprisingly. Then Mr. Horger turned around slowly and walked to his cabin. I thought he would fire me Tony thought. ‘You can get out now,’ Tony said. Lightning then got out and walked slowly towards Tony with his head down. ‘Alright were going for a ride,’ Tony said. Lightning then looked up with a big smile on his face bigger than a banana. Tony then got his own personal saddle for Lightning that had stripes of yellow then it was black everywhere else making it look like a black cloud with Lightning. He then dropped the saddle on Lightning. Then jumped on the saddle grabbed his hands on the reins and took off. Tony and Lightning were going so fast that they were leaving huge craters behind them. They then passed Missouri to the Pacific Ocean. Then tidal waves started to fill in the craters and they had to race back to where they started. The waves were 50 ft high with stripes of different kinds of blue. Finally they came back to Missouri in an hour (because Lightning had to take a break). So when they got of the crater they were sweating and soaking wet and I don’t know which one was even more soaking wet. ‘Let’s call it the Missouri river Lightning,’ Tony said. Tony then put on his headphones and put on the radio.”
“’Breaking NEWS Johnny Speed is closing our own home town horse training station and racing with a car racing court,’ the news said.”
“’What I had been gone for an hour and a half and I hear this,’ Tony said. ‘How could this happen?’ Tony asked. Lightning just shrugged.”
“’Tony I have to tell you we are shutting dow...’ Mr. Horger said.”
“’I know I heard it on my headphones, but why?’ Tony asked.”
“’Because of money,’ Mr. Horger said.
“’So let me pay for it I have enough money, ‘Tony said.”
“’No you don’t Tony he will not accept it, if you beat him in a Race this place will stay,’ Mr. Horger.”
“’Alright I’ll do it,’ Tony said.
“’Ok you have to go to race cars track in the other side of town,’ Mr. Horger said. WHOOSH a gust of wind blew caused by Tony riding on Lighting to the race car track Tony passed by Main St in 2 seconds and went to Race ST where Johnny Speed was talking to the NEWS reporters.”
“’Hey Johnny Speed I challenge you to a race,’ Tony said.”
“’Oh you’re that kid who works at the horse thing that I’m closing,’ Johnny Speed said.”
“’Yes I am so if I win it will stay and if I lose you do whatever you want,’ Tony said.
“’Deal but there are no rules,’ Johnny said.”
“’Alright I’m going to use my horse Lightning,’ Tony said.”
“’Ok you’re going to lose anyway,’ Johnny said.
“’Ready get set Go,’ the reporter said. Then Tony and Johnny were racing at their limits. They were going so fast that they were leaving scratch marks. Then Tony then was falling behind.”
“’Come on Lightning you can do it,’ Tony said. Lightning then gained so much speed that he ended up fifty ft ahead of Johnny and passed the line.”
“’Johnny Speed has lost Tony Cilantro wins and the horse station stays!’ the reporter said. After that Tony disappeared and rode to
